Today, my Crooked Man and I set off on a 90 minute drive to reach Banrock Station, to participate in their Walking Trails and take some photos. As the Trails are bathed in sun, we arrived soon after opening at 9am and importantly, had to taste their coffee……..
After registering for our walk we set off on the first part of the trail, through the Vineyard Zone……..
On a downhill slope we took in the amazing views……….
We began the first part of our journey, which took us meandering through the Mallee Zone………..
At this point, we were pleased we arrived early, before the sun became too hot…and for the hats we had thrown on last minute!
My Crooked Man was keen to get to the Board Walk in the Wetland Zone……so with camera in hand we pushed on…….
I have some beautiful photos of the Wetland Zone and I plan to upload them in the next day or two. We had a lovely time….the best part for both of us was the absolute peace.
Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
