So, after meandering through the Vineyard and Mallee Zones, we finally arrived at the Board Walk in the Wetland Zone.
We walked through the Wetlands on the Board Walk and were pleasnatly surprised by the colour and beauty we found along the way.
The colours were quite surprising!
The colour changed depending on the amount of sunlight
Some of the reflections were stunning!
We continued for some way along the Board Walk…looking for the Shelduck Hide……….
The reeds and grasses were quite spectacular and provided some much needed shade along the Board Walk.
And then, after several kilometres….we came to the Shelduck Hide…..my first time ever in a hide…….and for a girl that does not enjoy being among nature……I was quite pleased to have some protection from the feathered creatures…….and of course, very pleased to not impact upon their environment!
As we had an uphill walk back to the Centre and the sun was gaining heat…we soon headed back along the Board Walk…….resting along the way to appreciate the environment…….
